Cotton Babies has come out with prints. Not sure what I think of them yet; I need to run down there when they get them in the store. Hope I've got some spending money hidden somewhere!

Good Kitty!
We usually have the pleasure of hosting a mouse family reunion each year in our home. Once, we went to Florida for Christmas, and upon our return two weeks later, we found at least eight sticky traps full of our winter "visitors."
There have been two or three neighborhood cats roaming our property for a good while now, and we have had no inclination to deter them. Today, my husband watched with delight as one of the cats came out from under our house with a small mass of gray in his mouth.

I love great deals!!
Okay, my whole shopping trip this week went really well, but I HAD to share this part of it! One of our local grocery stores is doing a breast cancer awareness thing this week with General Mills. You get a $3 catalina (coupon for next time, printed at the register) for buying 5 qualifying GM products. In addition, you get a $1 catalina if you buy 3 Green Giant products. Cool thing is, you can double dip, because the Green Giant stuff is on the same list! So here goes; watch this:
I bought 5 GM items and got my $3 catalina on order #1. Then, we move on to order #2:
Cheerios - $2 each box
Cheerios - $2 each box
Green Giant frozen veggie - $1 each box

Green Giant frozen veggie - $1 each box
Total cost: $7
Coupon - $1 off Cheerios
Coupon - $1 off Cheerios
Coupon - $.50 off veggies
Coupon - $.50 off veggies

Total coupns - $6.50
My cost for order #2: $.50 PLUS another $3 catalina for next time AND a $1 catalina for next time!!! HA! HA! HA!

Having a kickin' good time
Baby Girl is learning how to kick Mommy! It's not at all hard, but I'm feeling the little tiny taps, mostly at night when I roll onto my side in bed. I'm not sure if that puts Baby in the right position for it, or if Baby doesn't like for Mommy to squish her! I love this time of pregnancy. :-)

Long Day (but GOOD)!
I got some great deals at the grocery store today. A few weeks ago, I ordered some Kashi cereal samples, and each one came with a $2 off coupon. My grocery store had it on sale for $3 a box, so I got two boxes for $1 each!
Kraft Bagel-Fuls were on sale for $2 a box, and I went searching online for a coupon. I was able to print two at $1 off, making each box $1. (Do we see a pattern going on here?)
I found a coupon for Kashi granola bars, $1.50 off. They were on sale for $2.50, so I picked up one of those for a dollar, too. Ha! By the end of my (short) shopping trip, I had $9 in coupons. The cashier was impressed. :-)
A few days ago, red bell peppers were on sale for $1 each. I got a few of them and chopped them tonight to store in my freezer.
Tonight at Sam's, I bought a 10 lb. chub of 90% ground beef for $1.98/lb., as well as a tray of boneless, skinless chicken breast for $1.97/lb. I just finished dividing it all up into freezer bags. My freezer looks VERY full right now.
Ahhhh....it's "good tired."

It's a...
GIRL!!!
We had our "big" ultrasound yesterday, and the finding is that we have another girl coming! I didn't have a preference or wish going into it; I just wanted to know what it would be. A girl would be good because we already have all the stuff. A boy would be good because most people want to make sure they get at least one of each.
Hannah really wanted a sister, and she was about the only person who thought it was a girl. Everybody at church thought it would be a boy. Oh, well! The funniest was our pastor. He says he's never been wrong in guessing. Now he says, "We'll see...things could still change. Those machines aren't always right." Ugh! Ha! Ha!
